Our Old Town tour commences "where California began": the heart of San Diego's Old Town! Be swept away by the enchanting and sometimes eerie history of this special spot as you take in the original landmarks and buildings along San Diego Avenue, the Old Town State Historic Park, and the Bazaar del Mundo.
Enticing Mexican food isn't Old Town's only cuisine of choice, although you surely won't miss it on this Bite Tour! While you fill up on artisan cheeses, burger bites, sinful cakes, wine and more, your guide will fill you in on San Diego’s first one room schoolhouse, the graveyard nearby the Whaley House, and why in 1592 the explorer Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo called the native indians, “a good natured and an attractive people." (And hey-San Diegans remain that way today!)
